Path: Admin > Mass Import > Dashboard / Templates
The Templates Tab displays all Excel Templates currently available to import data. This list will increase as more Templates are developed.
You can download a Template using the link in the second column or the icon at the right.
In Excel, the Templates include tips in the heading to help you determine the kind of data that is needed. The tips also include information about the import, such as whether "Any equipment that matches Make/Models will have PM Schedules created for them."
The heading for required fields are shown in red. If you enter required data in the incorrect format (Name instead of Code or vice versa), the cell is highlighted to alert you as illustrated below.
UDF Columns in Biomed Mass Imports
You can add your own UDF columns to your Biomed Mass Import template.
When you download the Biomed Template, you need to add your UDF column names to be available in the Additional Mappings section when you Create Import.
When you open the Create Import window in the application, the system auto-detects UDF columns.
Expand the Additional Mappings section to re-map columns to match your field name before you import.
