For Administrators and Supervisors, the Landing Page defaults to the Work Orders Tab. This view provides you a high-level Work Orders Summary section and a detailed Work Order Tasks list.
Work Orders Summary
The Work Orders Summary section provides Administrators and Supervisors a visual overview of Work Orders by the following statuses: Open, Overdue, Finished and Unassigned. You can select the Overdue, Finished and Unassigned buttons to have the Work Order Tasks list filter to show only those items.
Note: Supervisors only see Work Orders for the Trades they supervise.
Work Order Tasks
The Work Order Tasks section provides a detailed list of your organization's Work Orders and associated Tasks. You can filter the list by WO#, Status, Work Order Type, Priority, Request, Location, Due Date, Trade, Task and Technician(s) using the filter buttons at the top of the columns.
Take action on your Work Orders by marking the check box on a Work Order line and choosing one of the following buttons at the top right of the list:
Update Status: Choose this button to update the Status of the selected Work Order(s).
Assign Technician(s): Choose this button to assign a technician(s) to the selected Work Order(s). See Settings Required for Supervisors.
Update Due Date: Choose this button to update the due date on the selected Work Order(s).
Export to CSV: Choose this button to export the selected Work Order(s) to a csv file.
Print: Choose this button to print the selected Work Order(s).
After choosing an action that will affect a Work Order status, refresh the page to show the updated list.
Settings Required for Supervisors
The Assign Technician button is available for Administrators, Users, and Supervisors; however, the Supervisors must have several settings made on the Technician, Trade, and User or Group windows to assign Technicians.
The following list outlines all the required settings:
- Organization > Repair Center > Technician window. Mark the Supervisor check box.
- Organization > Repair Center > Trade window. Select the same person from the previous step in the Supervisor field.
- Admin > User Management > Records / Preferences or Admin > User Management > Groups / Preferences. Grant one or both of these two Privileges:
- Allow to Schedule Work Order to Others
- Allow to Schedule Work Order to Themselves
When these conditions are met, the Supervisor can see and use the Assign Technicians button.
