Path: Organization > Task > Task Check Group
The Task Check Group window allows you to collect numerous Master Checks in one record. When completing the Task > Record / Task Check List Tab, the group can be selected rather than having to select each task separately on the Task window.
When a Task Check Group is selected on the Task / Task Check List Tab, checks from the group all have the same order number. You can change the Order # for a line in a group, but all lines from the Check Group continue to be numbered together; however, when the list appears on the Work Order Check Results flyout, the sort order established on the Task Check Group window are reflected in the normal 1, 2, 3… sequence.
How to Create an Inspection Check Group
Go to Task > Task Check Group to choose checks previously created from the Task > Master Check window.
In Add mode:
- Enter the required Code and Description.
- Select the Add Task Check link to open the Task Check Entry flyout.
- Use the Filter Criteria to reduce the list.
- Mark the check boxes of any check you want to include in the Check Group.
- Choose Add Selected.
- Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
The Tasks are added in the order they appear on the Task Check Entry flyout. To change the order sequence, see the next topic.
How to Change Order Sequence for Task Check Group Lines
In Add or Edit mode:
- Click the
line edit button to open the Task Check Group Sequence flyout.
- Enter the desired Order # for the line.
- Click Save on the flyout.
- Repeat as needed.
- Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
After the "big save" the lines are rearranged on the window in the new sort order.
If changes are needed later, you can always use these steps to change the order. These changes are also reflected on the Task / Task Check List Tab if the group has been added previously to the Tab.
