Risk Level Calculations
Add or change the Risk Level for individual records using one of two methods:
- manual entry
- calculate with new parameters
If the Type Desc you selected has a Risk Factor calculated in Organization > Lookups, WebTMA automatically assigns the number when a new record is created. For existing records, authorized users can apply calculations to all records of the particular Type using Apply Risk Level on the Lookups Action Menu.
Authorized users can change the Risk Level for individual records by selecting a different Risk Formula or selecting a different option in the available fields.
If a new calculation is needed, click the icon at the right of the Risk Level field in Edit mode to open the Item Risk Factor Entry popup window.
- Make selections on the popup as needed.
- Click the Save button on the window.
- Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
When you recalculate a Risk Level number, WebTMA also displays the icon in View mode to indicate that the calculation parameters have been adjusted. The icon does not appear in View mode if you manually change the number.
The Risk Factor Formula window in Organization > Lookups is used by authorized personnel to create other Risk Formulas.
