VOC - SRP Text Colors Enhanced
Path: Admin > Form Attributes > Service Request Portal
Themes for the Service Request Portal Forms have been enhanced to allow you to change the color of text in your request forms.
Previously, the Service Request Portal (SRP) theme editor in WebTMA had no options to change the font color for field labels and titles. If you used dark backgrounds, it was difficult to see.
New color and font settings have been added:
- Label Color – controls field label text color
- Text Color – controls general form text color
- Button Text Color – controls text within buttons
- Validation Color – controls validation/error message text color
- Label Font Size - can be set independently
- Logo Alignment - controls alignment
These settings apply across all form fields when the theme is selected, which gives you full control over text contrast and provides more WCAG compliance.
This is the July Voice of the Customer enhancement. It is a feature requested by the University of Miami - Medical. We saw an opportunity to redevelop the page to be more user-friendly. WebTMA has evolved into the solution it is largely through great feedback and suggestions provided by our clients.
OTTO Work Order Summary Enhanced
WebTMA has enhanced the OTTO chatbot to replace raw work order lists with intelligent, context-driven summaries.
Previously, OTTO presented work order summaries as raw bulleted lists. The output has been changed into an intelligent narrative that classifies work orders (PM, Corrective, Request), detects trends/recurring issues, highlights root cause indicators from task comments, and presents a concise readable summary. The detailed list is available on request.
You can see the change in the starter prompts, such as ‘Summarize the open work orders’, that help guide you to more insights about the data.
Scroll down to see all the results and note the prompt that offers more option.
You can request other useful summaries such as Work Orders for Equipment, Assets, or other MWI.
Auto-Improve Comments on Landing Page

Initial Text AI Draft
A Draft with AI button on the Comments field (found on the Active Tasks Tab of the Landing Page) can help you polish and revise the text entered in the Add Task Comment window.
You can now enter notes in this multi-line text box, click the Draft with AI button, and OTTO will analyze and draft your remarks into text that is easier to read.
You can make any changes to the suggested text that you want.
In the future, this feature will be added where it is applicable for easier use of multi-line text boxes.
Mass Import Area # Column Changed
Path: Admin > Mass Import - Template
The Area # column in the Mass Import template for MWI (see list below), has been revised to validate the Area # only.
In the past, the validation looked for the Building Code-Area Number, i.e., the Location ID.
With this change, WebTMA only looks for the Area Number (no building code joined at the beginning).
The following templates are affected:
- Asset
- Biomed
- Equipment
- Tool
- Vehicle
- Utility Meter
PLEASE NOTE: If you reuse templates with the Location ID-style value for data updates, it will have validation errors. In addition, if you use something like an Excel formula to build entries for the Area # column, please adjust the formula to avoid validation errors.
