Path: Organization > Lookups > Disposal Types
Instead of merely deactivating an item, you can establish Disposal Types. The Disposal Types set up on this window are used to classify methods of removal or clearance for any maintenance-worthy item.
From the Transactions > Disposal window or using the Disposal link on the Action Menu for eligible items, you can specify disposal using the Types you set up here.
The Disposal window requires a Disposal Type in order to save the record.
Examples: donated, recycled, sold for salvage, sold to employees
