Estimate Type refers to the Estimate function and classifies Estimate and Change Order Line items that can be selected. It is used with Work Orders as well as Projects or Project Tasks.
Each Estimate Type must be designated as Labor, Parts, Other, or Miscellaneous. In addition to a Code and Description, the specific kind of Type (Time, Part, or Charge) for which the Estimate will be used can also be designated.
- Labor. Link to a specified Time Type.
- Parts. Link to a specified Part Type.
- Other. Link to a specified Other Charge Type.
- Miscellaneous. No other link or detail needed.
