FAQ types are used to add troubleshooting text for users before they submit a request from the Request Log window.

Once a user has entered a Request on the Request Log window, he or she clicks the FAQ button for tips on how to resolve the issue without a service call. Use FAQ on the Lookups window to create suggestions found on the FAQ Info flyout. Entries may be similar for several types of Task/Item FAQs. Rather than typing all new text, you can select the FAQ text and use or edit it on the FAQ Lookup window to describe possible solutions that do not require a Technician.
