Use the Utility Budget window to compare actual energy usage and cost to budgeted amounts. Tables for utility bills are linked to the budget tables, and the system calculates the data for meters, by billing period, to show the differences between actual and budgeted amounts.
How to Add Utility Budget Records
In Add mode on the Utility Budget window:
- Select the Utility Meter.
- Enter the Fiscal Year.
- Choose the Add Month link to open the Utility Budget Detail Entry flyout.
- Select the Month.
- Enter Year, Budgeted Usage, and Budgeted Cost as available.
- Choose Save on the flyout.
- Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
The system calculates the amount in the Cost Variance column. Negative numbers indicate the percentage the bill is under budget. Positive numbers show percentages that the cost is equal to or over budget.
How to Add Values to Utility Budget Records
In Edit mode:
- Choose the Add Month link to open the Utility Budget Detail Entry flyout.
- Select the Month.
- Enter Year, Budgeted Usage, and Budgeted Cost as available.
- Choose Save on the flyout.
- Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
The system calculates the amount in the Cost Variance column. Negative numbers indicate the percentage the bill is under budget. Positive numbers show percentages that the cost is equal to or over budget.
