Path: Transactions > Training > Program
Use the Program window to define a category, such as New Hires or Basic Training, with which Classes are associated. A Program record is associated with at least one Repair Center as well. Employees assigned to the Repair Centers are eligible to participate in Classes created for the Program.
If an evaluation is required, mark the Survey Required check box and go to the Survey Tab to select questions. When a Program record is applied to a Class record, you can use the Program / Survey questions without having to repeat them on the Class record.
When a Class record for this Program is closed, all participants receive an email notice to complete an evaluation online. If the Class also has a Survey specified, the Class survey questions take precedence over questions on the affiliated Program survey.
How to Add Training Program
In Add mode:

Enter your Program ID.

Input a Description of the Program.

Select elective fields if needed. Note: If you want to send class evaluations, check the Survey Required box.

Choose Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
If you use evaluations, select the Survey Tab and follow the instructions in the Survey Tab topic.
Survey Tab
Create Class evaluations on the Survey Tab. The evaluations can be one long list of questions, or they can be divided by content, such as General, Class Content, Trainer Effectiveness, etc. The pre-defined questions are created in Organization > Lookups / Customer Survey.
On the Survey Tab in Add or Edit mode:
- Add a Survey Title for better identification of the evaluation.
- Choose the Add Section link to open the Section Entry flyout.
- Enter a Section Description to name this section of your questionnaire. The Section Order indicates the sequence of the sections.
- Choose Save on the Section Entry flyout.
- Expand the newly created Section Description.
- Select the Add Question link on the secondary grid.
- Mark the check boxes for the desired questions on the Add Question flyout.
- Choose the Save button.
- Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

How to Re-order Evaluation Questions
Evaluation questions appear in the order you select them. If you want to change the sequence of questions:
- Select Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
- Expand the applicable Section Description.
- Choose the pencil icon for the line you want to move up or down.
- Enter the Order # value on the Edit Question flyout.
- Select the Save button on the flyout.
- Choose Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
You can see the new number on the grid. When you select Save on the toolbar, WebTMA re-arranges the lines in the appropriate sequence.
A similar process is used when you want to re-order the sequence of question sections. Select the pencil icon for the section entry and enter the new number.
Class Tab
When you add a Class record from the Transactions > Training > Class window, and include a Program for the record, the Class is automatically displayed on the affiliated Transactions > Program / Class Tab.
At times, you may need to edit the Class dates from the Program window. Within limits, the dates can be changed either inline or using the pencil icon to open the Class Edit Dialog window.
The following restrictions apply when editing Class start/end dates:

Open Classes can be edited; however, if the Close Date is populated on the Transactions > Training > Class window, the line is disabled, i.e., it remains visible in View mode, but displays no pencil icon or inline Edit fields.

In Edit mode, the Class Tab supports inline edit, but it does not have a deletion option. This prevents deleting a Class that has other training assignments linked to the Class.

If a Class with modified Start/End dates has open training assignments, WebTMA prompts with the message, “Do you want to re-send email to Trainer/Trainee assigned to the Class?” This is the same prompt displayed when you change a Class Start or End Date from Transactions > Training > Class.
How to Copy Training Programs
When needed, you can copy a Program and retain the assigned Class names but revise the Class dates, duration, capacity, and survey requirements.
The lines on the Class Tab for this new Program can be edited inline or using the pencil icon for the line.
To copy an existing Program and keep the Class lines:

Open the record you wish to copy.

Select Copy on the WebTMA toolbar.

Choose OK on the alert to copy the Classes.

Enter a new Program ID.

Select the Class Tab.

Change the details either inline or using the Class Edit flyout.

Choose Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
