With mobileTMA GO, you can use Android devices as a paperless alternative for your organization. Work Orders are transferred (downloaded) from the web server onto your device.
mobileTMA GO for Android is compatible with the current OS of Android devices or the immediately preceding OS version.
Data entry on an Android device is made from the soft keyboard.
Some fields are completed automatically. Tap in the desired field, and the keyboard automatically displays at the bottom of the window. On many windows, you will need to scroll down to see all fields.
Login to mobileTMA GO
Use the following instructions the first time you log in to mobileTMA GO. After you are logged in, the device retains your login information (except Password) until you log out.
- Tap the mobileTMA GO logo on the handheld device. This opens the mobileTMA GO Login window.
- Enter your Login ID, Password, and Client name.
- Enter the URL for your installation. *
- Tap the Sign In button.
After you are logged in, the device retains your login information.
* If TMA Systems does not host your database, you need to set this connection. By default, the path is https://mobile.webtma.com. For all clients, the URL points to the login page, excluding any page reference (e.g., yourhost.yourdomain.com). After login, a popup window displays the progress of downloaded data.
Home Page for mobileTMA GO
Once data is downloaded, the Home Page displays a summary of Work Orders, pending Labor Hours, and Unpushed Records. Unpushed Records are those that have not been successfully uploaded and synchronized with the WebTMA database.
Tap the Section of your choice to view the desired information.
Tap Menu at the top right of the window to view the mobileTMA GO menu.
Field Labels
The terminology used on mobileTMA GO windows is the same as the WebTMA interface.
If your WebTMA setup uses different field labels for certain fields (defined by the WebTMA System Administrator), these changed field label names display in mobileTMA GO when you transfer data.
Logout
If you do not log out of mobileTMA GO, the Refresh Static Data button, located on the Data Manager window, allows you to reload both static and transactional data without logging out. However, changes made to Admin > Text Management in WebTMA that relate to mobileTMA GO and changes to menu, location, or Repair Center access require that you log out. As with any computer device, it is advisable to log out from time to time as part of good maintenance.
When you log out of the application, all records are cleared from the device; this includes pending items that have not been uploaded for any reason, including those items that are incomplete. Static records are reloaded when you log in again.
To alert you that the pending items will be lost, mobileTMA GO asks you to confirm logout.

mobileTMA GO is made up of several modules. Each module requires a separate license in order for that functionality to be available. Each module within mobileTMA GO can be licensed independently from one another. The modules contained within mobileTMA GO are:

If Technicians have a connection to the WebTMA server from mobileTMA GO, they can:

load assigned Work Orders on the Android device

review a history of previous Work Orders related to a Work Order (if linked via a live connection)

save completed Work Order information (comments, labor, materials, other charges) to WebTMA from the device

create new Work Orders on the device

create work requests on the device

create inventory records for Areas and Equipment on the device
This documentation outlines the operation of mobileTMA GO software created for use with Android devices. For instructions on how to use other features of your Android device, refer to the manual for the device itself.
NOTE: For healthcare clients that use both the medTester interface as well as mobileTMA GO, remember that medTester PM Work Orders are not transferred to the Android unit. PMs for medTester are transferred to the medTester device where the PMs are performed.
