Reservation Batch Validation - WebTMA 7

Path: Transactions > Facility Scheduler > Reservation Batch Validation

Use the Reservation Batch Validation window to identify pending reservations that need review for approval or rejection. The window allows you to act on many records at one time.

When you select criteria on the Query flyout and click the List Results button, the underlying Reservation Batch Validation window displays the pending Reservation requests that match your criteria. You can accept or reject as many of these Reservations as needed.

Check the line items of interest and use the Remove Selected, Export Current Page, Export All, or Validate buttons to take any of these actions. The Export buttons allow you to save the list to an Excel spreadsheet.

As with all WebTMA list windows, the Remove Selected option merely clears the line from the list not the database. You also have the option to click an entry in the Number column to open the full Reservation record in a separate browser tab.

To re-open the Query flyout and generate a different list, click the New Browse Selection link at the top of the grid.

How to Validate Reservations in Batch

To validate multiple Reservations at one time:

  1. Click the check box adjacent to line items on the list window.

  2. Click the Validate button to open the Accept/Reject Reservation flyout.

  3. Review the details of the request.

  4. Click your choice of Accept, Reject, Next, or Cancel buttons.

If you click Next, no action is taken. If you Accept or Reject the Reservation, the status changes, and WebTMA opens the next Reservation you have checked until all are processed.

To change the number of lines displayed on the page:

  1. Click the drop-down arrow on the items per page button at the lower left below the grid.

  2. Select the number you want.

A value on the drop-down button shows the new number of lines.
