Tools - WebTMA 5

Path: Material > Tools > Records / Identity

This function is used to:

  • record detailed information about each tool
  • check out tools and return them
  • view any parts related to the tool
  • create work orders to repair tool
  • review work orders where the tool is used
  • review a tool PM schedule
  • review cost data about the tool

Most of the Tabs on this window are used by many functions in WebTMA. An explanation of these shared Tabs is found in the separate Help > Help Page > Common Functions document.

Tools may require special reminders when generating work orders or requests for the tool. Use the optional Popup Message Subtab to add a short (255 character) message that displays when the Tool is selected on Work Order or Request windows.

The Rates Tab is used if your organization has the optional Facility Scheduler module.
