Entries on the Check Results flyout for a Work Order can be sent to the MWI Meters Tab. This feature depends on related settings in the item record and the Master Check.
If an item's meter has a Meter Type specified and if a Task > Master Check record has the same Meter Type, Check Results meter readings are eligible to be updated by the system without having to open the item record.
For example: A meter reading is entered on the Check Results flyout (Work Order window Action Menu Check Result or Quick Post Check Result). If the assigned Work Order Task includes a Master Check (entered on the Task Check List Tab) and the Meter Type for that check matches the Meter Type for the item's meter, the meter reading entry is copied to the item's Meters Tab when the Check Results are saved.
