Building Identity Tab Sections WebTMA 7

The Building / Identity Tab has a number of Sections that can provide valuable information in different situations.

General Information Section

The required fields are identified in the Building article. The other fields in the section are defined below.

Account # the account that is primarily responsible for maintenance costs associated with a Building that is used as the default account on the Work Order / Identity Tab for chargeable Work Orders.

Building # a number for the Building assigned by your organization. This may be a different number from the one assigned in WebTMA software.

Department Name the Department affiliated with the Building.

Parent Building entries in this field identify another Building to which the current Building is a child or sub-building. This is similar to the Parent Tag on maintenance-worthy item records.

Rate Schedule the schedule applicable to this Building. Rate schedules are used to apply additional markups to a unique combination of criteria including Labor, Parts, Other Charges, and Contractor fees.

Subtype Name the Building subtype established in Organization > Lookups.

Contact Information

Use this Section to identify the person in authority concerning the Building, including phone, fax, and email information.

Location

If you use GIS, you can add the Latitude / Longitude as well as address lines to this section. If you use Division, Regions, or Districts, these can be added as well.

Address fields the address of the Building, including City, State, and Zip code.

Latitude / Longitude the geographic coordinates of the Building. If you use the optional GIS module, these coordinates are used to locate the Building.

Additional Information

The Additional Information Section includes Original Contractor and Costs as well as Warranty and size. If you use the optional Lease Management module, you can also enter information specific to leases.

Assignable Sq Footage the amount of space that can be assigned for use.

Assigned Tech ID or Assigned Tech Name select one to complete both fields if a technician is assigned to work on this Building.

Benchmark Util. Cost if you use the optional Utilities module, this field indicates the cost of the usage goal for all utilities associated with the Building.

Benchmark Utilization if you use the optional Utilities module, this field indicates your usage goal for all utilities associated with the Building.

Completed Date the date Building construction was finished.

Construction Type applies to the optional Capital Planning module. Select from the list of CP Construction Types established in Lookups to designate the primary construction such as masonry or wood.

Cost Per Sq. Ft. the square footage cost for the Building.

Floors the number of floors in the Building.

In Leasable Portfolio applies to the optional Lease Management module. When this check box is marked, the Building is available for selection from the Lease Management window.

Off-site Property applies to the optional Lease Management module. When this check box is marked, the Building is a property that is off site.

Original Contractor the name of the company that built the Building.

Original Cost the original cost to build if available.

Portfolio Manager ID or Portfolio Manager Name applies to the optional Lease Management module. Select one to complete both fields of the Portfolio Manager for the Building.

Sublet applies to the optional Lease Management module and indicates that the Building is also sublet.

Total Sq Footage the total amount of space in the Building.

Warranty Date use this date to track warranties at the Building level.
