Group Notification & Escalation - WebTMA 7

Use the Notification & Escalation module to monitor several critical Work Orders and follow up with notices to interested parties and Technicians to assure prompt completion of the work. The Number field indicates the quantity that triggers the email messages. You can qualify the number with one of the symbols such as =, <, >, etc.

From the Notification & Escalation window in Add mode:

1. Choose the Group radio button.
2. Complete the fields that apply.
3. Select a desired symbol and enter the fixed Number of Work Orders for the trigger quantity.
4. Select the escalated Priority in the Escalate To Priority field.
5. Mark the Email recipients' check boxes. If needed, type additional addresses in the CC... field of the Email Information Section to notify others. At least one Email check box or email address is required to send notification messages.
6. (Optional) Enter a message in the Append to Email text box to supplement the escalation email. You can also create a more detailed messages using the Email Tab. See Notification & Escalation Email Tab for more information about escalation messages.
7. Choose the Add Priority link in the Priority Section. See Group Priorities for more information.
8. Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

Group Priorities

At least one Priority is required before you can save a Group Notification & Escalation record. The more priorities added to the grid, the more Work Orders are eligible for a group alert.

1. Choose the Add Priority link to open the Priority Entry flyout.
2. Mark the check box of all Priority Codes you want to add.
3. Choose Add Selected on the Priority Entry flyout.
4. Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

If priorities have been added previously, you can select the trash can icon for a line item to remove the Priority from the grid.
