The User Management / Repair Centers Tab is different from other Repair Center Tabs found in WebTMA.
This Tab on the User Management record is used exclusively to restrict access to User records by others. It does not confer Repair Center access on the Users themselves.
User Repair Center Details
Standard Users cannot access another user's record from the User Management window unless both users have access to the same Repair Center, i.e., both users have the same Repair Center listed on the User Management > Records / Repair Centers Tab.
Technicians, Requestors, and Contractors are assigned Repair Center visibility from their origin records. Technician origin records are found at Organization > Repair Center > Technician. Requestor origin records are found at Admin > User Management > Requestors. Contractor origin records are found at Organization > Vendors.
Note that the Repair Center list from these corresponding windows is read-only on the User Management / Repair Centers Tab.
Admin users, i.e., those with a Role of Admin, have access to all User records regardless of the Repair Center access associated with their user record. Only other Admins can view Admin records; although standard Users may see Admin users listed on a drop-down list, such as Approval Routing, if the standard Users have access to an associated Repair Center.
For Groups, the Repair Centers Tab on the User Management > Groups window is used to restrict access to User Groups; therefore, the Repair Centers listed on the Groups / Repair Centers Tab are not inherited by the User Management records of any Users assigned to the Group.
