WebTMA gives you the option to note how a Work Order job was accomplished. Entries on this window are required if you mark the Resolution Required check box in the Task / Identity–Approval Requirements Section.
Add possible resolutions to the Simple Resolution Section for Technicians to select when the Task has been completed. Resolution selections are created by your WebTMA System Administrator from Lookups > Resolution with an option to Require General Comments on the Work Order.
If Resolution Required is marked on the Task selected on a Work Order, users must select a resolution in the Resolution field on the Work Order / Identity Tab before they can close a Work Order.
The KB Resolution Section on this Tab is used if you have purchased the optional Knowledge Base module.
How to Add Resolutions to a Task
Additions to this window are a straightforward selection method. You can select the Description label to sort the selections (ascending or descending) on the Add Resolution flyout. In Add or Edit mode:
- Select the Add Resolution link at the top of the grid to open the Add Resolution flyout.
- Mark the check boxes of the desired resolutions
- Choose the Add Selected button
- Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
