Training Tab - WebTMA 7

Path: Organization > Repair Center > Technician / Training Tab

The Training Tab is used to record the training courses each Technician has completed or needs to attend as well as other expertise the Technician has.

Use the Supplemental Skill Section to record additional skills or certifications. Your WebTMA System Administrator creates the list of skills available for selection from Organization > Lookups > Supplementary Skill.

Note: If your organization uses the optional Training Module, a read-only Completed Classes Section is also visible on the Training Tab. See the end of the next topic for more information.

How to Use the Technician Training Tab

From the desire Technician's record in Edit mode:

  1. Click the Add Item link.
  2. Complete the Training Entry flyout.
  3. Click the Save button on the flyout.
  4. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

When the window refreshes, the new line item is on the Training Tab.

If you use the optional Training module, the window displays three Sections: Completed Class, Legacy, and Supplemental Skill. The Legacy Section displays more limited information about any schooling prior to use of the Training module.
