The Projects / Identity window displays the fields for adding a project record. This is the basis of managing a project. Information relevant to a project is contained in the record. Once the record is added, detailed information pertinent to the project is available at a glance.
Only a few fields are required when adding a project record, but the remaining fields provide beneficial information and should be populated whenever possible. In addition, some of the elective fields are critical for project reporting.
If you want to notify project team members about creation and status changes of the project, you can add numerous e-mail addresses to the E-mail field on the window and use the Organization > Repair Center > Records / Project Email Tab to set up the format these automatic messages.
