Admins that use Sub-Admins/Admins to approve items within their Approval Area(s) can see events in their Requires Administrative Approval grid on the dashboard.
BEFORE you click Approve, make sure to click the clock icon to the right of the items on the event. This allows you to determine whether any of the pending items are tied to an approval area. If this is the case, do NOT click Approve because these items must first be approved by the sub-admins and/or admins that have been given access to those approval area(s).
After all items tied to an approval area have been approved, if there are any items left still pending, you can click Approve on the event.
- In the example below, the "Signage" service requested on the event is assigned to the approval area of Building Svs. Mgmt. and is still waiting approval by the sub-admin responsible for that approval area.
You can send an email to any Sub-Admins or Admins that have pending items.
You can also expand the event by clicking on the " + " to see which items have been approved or need approval.
Then, you can quickly view the items to see the Name of the item, the Item Type, Approval Area associated, and Status.
NOTE: Using event conversations is great if anyone has questions as it is tied to the event.
