The Manage Techs Tab is used to record the technicians you want to assign to jobs. Only a few fields are required: first name, last name, and email address. A phone number is optional.
As mentioned in previous topics, technicians can be assigned or reassigned to jobs from the Work Orders and Active Tasks tabs. Their records can also be deleted from this window.
The tab is empty until you use the Plus button to Create Contractor Tech. The following topics provide instructions.

Exclusive to this window. In Edit mode, you can use the Active toggle. If the technician is not currently working with your company, but you want to retain the record for future use, use the Active toggle to disable the record but retain it for your files.
Generate Technician Login Link from Manage Techs
When the generate link is clicked on the Manage Techs tab, the link created is used to open a window that shows the Active Tasks tab rather than a single work order.
Notice that this version of the Active Tasks tab does not include the Tech Filter.
Technicians can click any work order link to see details and click Home in the breadcrumbs to return to the Active Tasks window.
They can also use the buttons at the right for tasks assigned to them.
If a task is not assigned, one icon is visible at the right. This is the Claim Task icon, which Technicians can click to assign the task to themselves.
Action Buttons for Assigned Jobs
