Area Types relate to the lowest level in the WebTMA location hierarchy, usually referred to as Area, Room, or Space. It defines the general use or function of area/structures.
Examples: mechanical closet, resident room, office space, restroom, and pumping station
Rates Tab
If you use the optional Events, Facilities Scheduler, or Fleet Management modules, a Rates Tab is available to enter values.
Settings on this Tab do not transfer automatically to a new Area record. Note that the Rentable check box must be marked on both the Area Types Rate Tab as well as the individual Area's Rate Tab to be eligible for rent.
If the Rentable check box is clear on the Type record, no Area of that Type are eligible for rental, regardless of data added to the individual Area's Rates Tab.
