Zones - WebTMA 7

Path: Organization > Zones

The Zones window accommodates a filtering method for items grouped by sectors of your organization. Zones are used to filter selections on other windows. Note that locations such as Facilities and Buildings must be established before you assign Zones.

From the Zones window you can:

  • Define a Zone
  • List Zone personnel on the Zones Personnel Tab
  • List Zone Items on the Zones Items Tab
  • Browse the list of existing Zones

You can add the same Items to more than one Zone.

Zones Details

To generate PMs by Zone, choose Zone in the Select Location Section of the PM Generation Batch Job Entry window.

If the location of a Work Order (such as Facility, Building, etc.) is listed on the Zones / Items Tab, the Work Order is eligible for viewing by Zone on the WO Browse window.

How to Add Zone Records

From the Zones window:

  1. Choose Add on the WebTMA toolbar.
  2. Enter the Code. This is an alpha-numeric field.
  3. Enter the Description. This is an alpha-numeric field to further identify the Zone.
  4. Complete as many elective fields as possible.
  5. Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
