Contract Services Tab

Path: Organization > Contract / Services Tab

The Contract / Services Tab is used to link a Contract to a Work Order using the Task Types that are associated with the Contract. Task Types that apply only to Contracts are advisable. See Note below for explanation.

Two links on the Tab offer the option to select several Task Types from one list or an individual Task Type with more detail about each Task.

For Utility Contracts, the Services Tab reflects Utility Services rather than Tasks.

NOTE: If you associate a Task Type that is frequently performed by your own staff, you will receive Contract popup notices each time you create a Work Order for that type even though it does not include a Contractor.

How to Add Detailed Contract Task Type

Use this procedure to add individual Task Types with details about the SubType and Rate Schedule.

On the Services Tab of the desired Contract:

  1. Choose Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
  2. Select the Add Single Task Type link at the top of the grid to open the Contract Task Type flyout.
  3. Complete the required and elective fields.
  4. Choose the Save button.
  5. Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

All Work Orders created for Tasks with this Task Type look for a Contractor selected in the Task Information Section of the Work Order. Unless you populate the Contractor field, WebTMA alerts you that "Contracts are associated with the item/task combination of this Work Order."

How to Add Contract Task Types

Use this procedure to quickly add a list of desired Task Types without detail to the Contract / Services Tab.

On the Services Tab of the desired Contract:

  1. Choose Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
  2. Select the Add Multiple Task Types link at the top of the grid.
  3. Mark the check boxes adjacent to the applicable types on the Contract Task Type Entry.
  4. Choose the Save button to list these items on the Services Tab.
  5. Select Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

In the future, all Work Orders created for Tasks assigned to this Task Type look for a Contractor in the Task Information Section of the Work Order. Unless you populate the Contractor field, WebTMA alerts you that "Contracts are associated with the item/task combination of this Work Order."
