If your organization has the Material Requests and Sales Orders module, you can create a Material Request Form and give your users a quick way to request Parts. Click the SRP_Btn_Plus.png Plus button for Forms on the initial Request Forms page, and select Create Material Request Form.

The first page that opens is the Material Request Form / Submission with a default layout. Like the Service Request Form, you can customize as much as you want , but you must include required fields. Drag-and-drop any of the blocks in the Block Palette and arrange as needed.

If you have not used the Service Request Form, see Form Submission Tab and the related articles for how to use the Form. The actions are the same.

The following screenshot shows a published default layout.

When your users click the required Add Parts button on your published design, they have an option to select many items at one time.

They can enter a Part number or partial Part code in the Find Parts field. To see Parts of a particular type, they have the option of using the Filter Part Type field, or they can use the Filter Manufacturer field.

As they scroll through the list, they see the quantity Available and the Cost. When they enter the quantity needed in the EA column, all they need to do is click the Done button.

The selections display on the Material Request window for review. If something was overlooked, they can click the Add Parts button again and add more Parts. When the list meets their needs, they click Submit.
